Homeschool Days @BCM

As part of our commitment to provide educational services for all students, BCM is excited to host the following events for homeschool students. Recommended for homeschool students in second through fifth grades. Cost: free for BCM members plus a $3 craft fee per student. For non-members, cost is $5 plus a $3 craft fee per student. Price includes museum admission.

Learn about the many hazards escaped slaves faced in the 1800s in Northern Kentucky and the heroic conductors who aided them, plus make a freedom quilt square to take home!

Learn what life as a soldier in the 1860s was like. Learn how to make hardtack, a staple in a Civil War soldier's diet- and try some too!

Learn about this Kentucky artist who lived a spartan life with his wife Anna along the Ohio River while writing, playing music and creating art, and make a small painting of your own to take home.

Make (and keep) two or more types of slime; analyze using the scientific method.
