BCM Angels Needed

Admissions

Behringer-Crawford Museum is full of exciting exhibits and we’d like to offer them as a gift to all visitors. But to do this we need an angel to pay the admission fees to the museum (excluding program fees, special events and exhibits). An annual donation of $150,000 would bring pleasure to many in our community who would not otherwise be able to afford the entrance fee - especially larger families. Will you step forward to be the angel to fulfill this need?

Education

BCM brings many, many school groups in throughout the year. Bringing history to life with actual artifacts helps fulfill core content and complements the teachers’ curriculum. We thank Camp Sunshine Foundation, Toyota, and Oakley and Eva G. Farris for their support so that we may award scholarships to schools that are underserved in our community to cover museum program fees.  But when the grants run out, the educational visits can only continue when the children or their parents pay the cost of admission. For example, an angel gift of $30,000 would provide bus transportation and educational programming for 4,300 students per year who would otherwise never have the opportunity. Would you be willing to help with this critical need?

Endowment

BCM extends a warm and sincere thank you Drs. Wolfgang and Ingrid Ritschel and Oakley and Eva G. Farris for their support in providing a bright future to the museum.  Their donations for education, admissions, special programs and museum collection care, ensure Behringer-Crawford Museum will continue to inspire and excite visitors for many years to come.  Please join these generous individuals in donating to our endowment. BCM's initial goal is $2 million. Will you help keep BCM's future bright by your generous support?

Donors to BCM, our angels, will be recognized throughout the museum.

Are you an angel who will help the museum and our community in one of these significant ways?
