Join us for a hands-on family craft inspired by the resourcefulness of the 1930s. Led by BCM Education Director Kim Gehring-Cook, participants will learn how to create a 1930s-style rag rug, a practical and creative craft families once used to reuse worn fabric and decorate their homes.
This program connects to BCM’s exhibit "Treasures From the Attic: 250 Years of Fashion & Furniture," exploring the everyday skills and creativity that shaped life in earlier generations.
Recommended for families with children ages 8 and up.
